Hello, my name's Blake Clingan. Right now I'm only 13,but I'm seriously in to apparitions and the unexplained. I know a lot of the basics about ghosts. Plus my uncle teaches me a lot. You guys might even know him. I'm so happy to be on this site. I've heard good things about it, and I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay. Welcome man... there is a good bunch of folks around here. Nice to see someone younger getting into the game... your only a year older than my brother and he is big into the paranormal too. He hopes to be a member one day.

Well hello from SW MS. I'm Rachael. I am one of the co-founders of Gulf Paranormal Society, which we started about 4 years ago. I am also an administrator for the TAPS message board, so please don't hold that against me. I've been interested in the paranormal for about 20 years now. I've have had some strange things go on, but have never seen an apparition yet. I have 2 children who love to scare but hate to be scared ... lol. I think I've taught them a few things though

Welcome to the boards. Seems you've had the willpower to stay in the field a long time. Any good things or scary things that stick in your mind?

Welcome to the boards. Seems you've had the willpower to stay in the field a long time. Any good things or scary things that stick in your mind? Not really anything scary has happened. I think my favorite place has been the West Virginia State Pen overnighter. But the bad thing about it was we were joined in a tour with a bunch of drunks trying to scare the serious people. My favorite investigation has got to be a 'haunted hearse'. That was weird, but just fun .. kinda like a 'Harold and Maude' kinda thing. I feel the more I do investigations, I am becoming more of an historian than anything. Which is pretty neat in itself.

There is nothing wrong with learning history. That in itself helps with investigations.

Hello my name is Brian or Onyx. I am new here but have been researcing on my own for years. I have lived in Louisiana, Florida, Virginia, and now I reside in Ackerman,MS. I am an amatuer of sorts but am very interested. I used to go to the battlefields of Yorktown/Williamsburg,Va at 1 A.M. on several occasions with camera in tow. I took some interesting pictures of an old house in which two female images appeared in the window. Unfortunately, I have lost the images due to previous computer failure. I am, however, very very interested in continuing this here. I am a skeptic to a certain degree. I believe that there is usually scientific and phsycological reasons for these things. Although I am not fully against the possibility of ghosts. I try to find a reasonable explanation first. My personal beielf is that we are all made of energy and energy never dies but transforms and transcends.
