A few experiences happened within the first couple of years my mom and I moved into the house we currently live in.
The first happened the first winter: For note----we have wall gas-heaters installed and no central heat. This maybe a little tricky to see from the way I describe what happened. The heater in my room is on the southern wall. My bed is parallel to the north wall which had a wide window in it. One night I was coming out of a sleep but not ready to open my eyes. I heard what sounded like a bunch of kids outside laughing, and I could follow the sound going around the corner towards the southside of the house. I opened my eyes to get up to see why the hell kids are sneaking around our house. When I opened my eyes, I saw this tall shadow run across the south wall. Now the only light around is the light from the heater which was on the south wall and the moon outside...I don't know what phase but I do know it was out.I told my mom a couple of days later about it and she said she remembers hearing someone laughing or a kid crying that same night. I seem to have more shadows around me.
Sometime later, I apparently had some sense knocked into me or something. You know when your body is totally relaxed before you hit sleep mode and the feeling of falling makes you jerk and it wakes you up? That's what I though was happenin at first but this happened almost every night for about a week. But the only part that would jerk would be my head. Here's something interesting...I could here a pop and feel a pop like something hit me on the back of my head which was resting on my pillow. I do know your body re-aligns but I'm not sure about what really happened. Anyway, the last night it happened, I wasn't even close to falling asleep and the slap on the back of my head was so loud and forceful that if my eyes were, I could have seen my feet. I opened my eyes and dared whatever was doing it to do it one more time. It never happened again. Even now if I experience the falling feeling it's my whole body instead of my head.
Now here's the fun one. One of my cats had the tendency to catch mice in my room. She's even placed a live one on my face because she was playing with it. Well, this incident happened in the morning. I, of course coming out of a sleep, heard some commotion and it sound like my cat was chasing another mouse. By this time she'd done it enough to wake me up when I didn't want to be woken up. So naturally I'm mad when I hear this scuffling and grumble inside my head. Next thing I know I feel my bedspread shuffle like something is running across it, and I kick my feet all over the bed to try to trip up my cat. I stopped because I didn't feel anything and that's when I heard this very sinister laughing when I stopped....needless to say, I raised up real quick, cocked my fist back, and opened my eyes only to see nothing except my room. My mom was in the kitchen doing dishes. I asked her if she'd heard anything and she said no.
Any feedback on if you think it was all in my head or if you might think something funny was going on. Those 3 just seemed too real. Now the shadow across the wall was real...I was real awake to see that.
