I don't know if everyone has listened to "Paranormal to Normal" lately. But this experience has a similar phenomenon to something that was said on the show. When I was like 4 or 5 my mother started me at preschool. Well a couple of days after I was there, I started to hear these drums. At first, the sound of the drums was so loud, I was surprised no one else could hear them. As time went by over weeks and months, they diminished in intensity and eventually faded out completely. I remember it so well even until this day. When it happened I told the teachers about it. None of them believed me except one. Only because she said that she could hear them to. She told me that a long time ago there was an Indian tribe that was very prominent before the town was built. The name of the tribe was "Pascagoula" which later became the city's name.

Very interesting. If we had an audio recording of this it would be really interesting to find out what it's meaning really was.

Yeah I would really like to know the meaning of it. Not sure why I could hear it and none of the other kids could not. It was just that one teacher. But I will never forget it thats for sure. The Singing river, wich is right by Northrop Gruham Ship Building. It is called the "Singing River" for a reason. When ever we came over and settled in Pascagoula. The Indians didn't want to give up there land. "Of Course" So the towns people pretty much told them if they didn't leave they were going to be killed. Well the Indian tribe "Pasagoula" didn't want to give up there land. So what they did was they all walked into the river singing. Until they drowned them selves. Its a very sad tragic happening. But at night they say that you can still hear them singing as they drown. I went one time with an old friend of mine. To see if we might could have caught anything or heard anything. But with Northrop working on ships its really hard to concentrate on listening. So.. but I just thought I would add that story as well.
