I just ordered a used copy of, Paranormal Investigators Handbook, through Amazon.com and it looks to be a good book.

Who is it by? Troy Taylor is a very good source. I have his new reivsed guidebook. He's been in the field a long time. Gary has a very good book to.

I just returned from our local Borders Bookstore and picked up the following books:
Haunted Natchez by Alan Brown
The Everything Ghost Hunting Book by Melissa Martin Ellis

The ghost hunter's survival guide by michelle bellengar is good as well as "Picture yourself ghost hunting" can't remember the author offhand. The second book (PYGH) has a dvd with it that shows a sample investigation.
