The ghost of William Faulkner has been reported as seen writing on the wall in one of the rooms and has been spotted walking the grounds of his home at random. A young woman has also been seen walking the ground although nobody really knows what the connection may be. Definitely want a shot at checking this location out.

You know, some say that Will made the ghost up because he was scared and wanted to explain all the creaking and poping that an old house like Rowan Oak does in the night. The fact that Rowan Oak is haunted is still under debate.

Yeah, all supposed sites of a haunting are always under debate until all evidence can be proven away to be natural in occurrence. I am unsure of any supposed hauntings, however, the guard there is the closest person in our time to have phenomena to occur at the estate. Of course, it is quite possible to find absolutely nothing in an normal inactive place. At any rate, I have never been to Rowan Oak, and as I understand it is back open to the public for a short while. I got this information off of the web site. Here's that link, it is a nice site: www.olemiss.edu/depts/u_museum/rowan_oak/interactive.html

I have been to Rowan Oak countless times, I even took my senior pictures there. I never really felt like there was a presence there, but I have heard the ghost stories. I also heard the story about will making it up.

Yeah, I did a tour at Rowan Oak and carried two audio recorders and took a lot of photos. I only found matrixing in a few of the photos. I am not so sure there is much validity to the claims of paranormal activity at Rowan Oak, but it is a very nice place to visit if nothing else.
I have opened up the investigative data to you JTKillou as well as the other sections I mentioned to you that would be available on the message board system. The photos are posted up, but I found nothing out of the ordinary on the audio. I need to sit down and review it again and see if I may have missed something, but I doubt it.
