Hello everyone! I am new and glad to be here! My very first experience with the paranormal was during my second investigation in 1988. We were at a residence and I was alone in one of the bedrooms with a tape recorder. The other investigators were outside and I was just getting ready to walk out myself when I was confronted by a green glowing "orb". It came through the wall, floated across the room, slowed down (as if it noticed me standing there), turned, and then came towards me. I, of course, did not wait around long enough to see what it's intentions were. The other members of my group finally caught up to me about a mile away and was able to stop me! LOL!! I witnessed this "orb" with my eyes and not through a camera. The other members went back inside and of course, didn't find anything. But that experience will live with me forever!

It's all about perspective when it comes to personal experiences. It's very hard to prove these kinds of experiences without solid evidence, of course with "orbs" per say, even harder because the photographs of orbs are not the solid evidence required to prove existence, with scale and thoes kinds of things it is hard even to prove on a video of the activity.
None the less, it is as real to you as anything else in your everyday life when you could find no light source from a reflection and you seen it with your own eyes radiating light and not refracting it.

My first experience was a brief one. It was during a pretty intense electrical storm. I was laying on my stomach watching the lightning, I felt a presence come into the room. I couldn't raise up to look but only a inch or so, only to where I could see a shadow.. By the time I was able to move.. whatever was there was then gone.

I have heard of these kinds of paralysis type states a lot. And then the presence of something and then once it's gone, you can move again. Interesting stuff for sure.

It was strange... I've thankfully moved from that house since :-)
