First off, i'm new to this board so, Hi everyone.
The house i'm living in has always been somewhat spiritually active, from lights turning on and off to doors locking us out of bedrooms, but lately we've had one of the furriest hauntings yet.
We recently took in my stepfathers mother after she had a surgery, and for the first few weeks we would hear her yelling in the middle of the day at a cat to get off her bed, and violently kicking the covers.
At first we would run to her and see nothing, but in the past week when we walk by the bedroom we've seen cats sleeping at the foot of the bed, when they realize they're noticed they suddenly dissapear.
It's not exactly an intimidating haunting but it's one I would appreciate an explanation to. Any ideas?

First off welcome to the forums. It's very possible that she is seeing a cat this isn't really there. I've seen first hand where people have been haunted by dogs and cats. So it's really easy to believe. Probably no way to correctly explain it :-)

There are always possibilities to paranormal phenomena. The only thing about this particular point is that there is no way to know if it signifies any thing or if is present at all. A proper investigation could reveal information, but not guaranteed. You could aways start trying to photo them and record them on audio or/and video. If you decide to look into the matter further, you can place a request for investigation, and even if you are outside our range, we could always put you in contact with someone who is closer to you and operates in a similar manner as HMPR.

i have had something similar to that happen. When i was 3, we had a litter of kittens and one did not survive, so now if i get up in the middle of the night and go in to the kitchen i see a little ball of fur that is white and blurry run across the floor. Sometimes it stops and i can see its that kitten or it just disappears, it still scares me sometimes but I'm use to it for the most part.

That's not too odd. At such a young age, the death of the kitten has a big impact on you.

true, it was, so that might also explain other ghosts i have seen of animals (i still see all of these every so often) my two pet rats and my dog.
