So i'm settling in earlier this evening getting ready to watch this dvd on my 360(X-box 360 for those who don't know) I powered up and was about 10 mins into a brand new episode, the screen starts messing up. It was like static but with color. I could still clearly hear the voices of the people on the show. But over them there was this deep, deep voice that was speaking in language I couldn't understand.. May not be anything... But I thought it was worth mentioning.

hehe, what movie was it. my tron movie will go technicolor plaid for a few seconds so that mess up is explainable. the voice isn't unless it was suppose to be in the movie.

You know I thought it might have been something to do with the subtitles... But when those are on It doesn't change the voices, It just puts the other language at the bottom of the screen. It's probably easily explainable. But I had another experience later that evening. I was listening to music through my ipod hooked up to my 360, The music went to static for like a minute then cut completely off, and changed to a different song. Which I would have had to do manually since it only plays songs on the current album you've selected

Sounds like what ever is going on is related to the X-Box 360.

Unfortunately I would have to agree with you. The machines I use at work are doing weird thing as well. We had to replace the drive system CPU recently in one of my machines and now it looks like the same CPU is going bad again.

Electronics are terrible for doing really weird things at odd moments...and what happens doesn't always make sense.
As for the voice, if the movie had multiple audio languages (like most animes I have), the alternate languages would have different voices.

See it was a Dawson's Creek episode... I'm not ashamed. The only other language they were translated into was Portuguese... It's been a month or two but it didn't sound like it.
